Thanks...for changing the World...

Tita Cory, thanks for being an inspiration to every Filipinos living here in this world. Thank you for staying brave in spite the challenges you've faced upon serving us as our President. Thanks for being a good example and making us realize that war doesn't always have to shred blood all over the corners of the world. Thanks for making us know that unity and faith in God is the best weapon in order to survive in this life's challenges and have peace...

May you now rest in peace and enjoy your life in the Spirit World with your good husband who also brought a good history to us, Filipinos. Please still guide us and make us remember the things you have done to us. We, the Filipino people that you left here living in this Earth, will surely always keep you in our hearts and we will never forget you. Your goodness and greatness. We will continue to fight for the rights of every Filipinos like what you did for us...

Maria Corazon "Cory" Sumulong Cojuangco Aquino11th President of the Philippines, serving from 1986 to 1992. She was the first female president of the Philippines and was Asia's first female president. (January 25, 1933 – August 1, 2009) was the A self-proclaimed "plain housewife", Aquino was married to Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr. (1932–1983), a leading figure in the political opposition against the autocratic rule of President Ferdinand Marcos. After her husband was assassinated upon his return from exile in the United States1986 snap presidential elections. After Marcos was proclaimed the winner despite widespread reports of electoral fraud, Aquino was installed as President by the peaceful 1986 People Power Revolution. on August 21, 1983, Aquino, who had no prior political experience, became a focal point and unifying force of the opposition against Marcos. She was drafted to run against Marcos in the Aquino's presidency saw the restoration of democratic institutions in the Philippines, through the enactment of a new Constitution which limited the powers of the presidency, restored the bicameral Congress, and renewed emphasis on civil liberties. Her administration was likewise hampered by several military coup attempts by disaffected members of the Philippine military which derailed a return to full political stability and economic development.

On August 1, 2009, she died from colon cancer.

Siya pa lamang ang taong namatay kung saan halos lahat ng tao sa Pilipinas ay nagkaisa at nagdasal para sa kanya. Sa kanyang pagsakabilang buhay, tila naulit ang kasaysayan ng Pilipinas sa panahong namatay ang kanyang yumaong esposo ng siyang lalong nagpasiklab ng digmaan laban sa presidente na si Marcos nuon. Nang ilibing si Ninoy Aquino, buong bansa din ang nagkaisa, sumubaybay at nakipaglibing sa pamilyang Aquino. Sa panahong iyon, galit ang pawang nararamdaman ng mga tao para kay Marcos at pagdadalamhati kay Ninoy Aquino. Matapos iyon ay naganap ang makasaysayang People Power or Edsa Revolution. At ngayon nga ay tila naulit ang pangyayaring yaon, lamang ay kapayapaan at pagdadalamhati ang nararamdaman ng mga tao para kay Cory Aquino.

Madaming naitulong sa taong bayan ang matatag na babaing ito. Kung kayat talagang minahal siya ng mga tao at naging huwarang pinuno rin sa ibang bansa. Kaya naman...
